In the footsteps of Dali, Picasso, Matisse, Dufy...

PROGRAMME

BANYULS

We meet up in the capital of sweet wine to visit the neighbourhood where sculptor Maillol used to live. Some of his original works can be seen.

COLLIOURE

In 1905 Matisse settled in this small harbour soon to be joined by Derain, Dufy and others. "Fauvism" was born. We ramble around the narrow streets and walk uphill to an old castle.

COASTAL PATH

Our trail along the Vermillion Coast captures the essence of the Mediterranean atmosphere: azure skies, blossoming hillsides, reddish rocks and terraced vineyards.

In the evening a wine tasting will be appreciated.

CERET

Under the century old plane trees, we discover reproductions of works by Picasso, Braque, Soutine and others. In the 20s and 30s the town was named "Mecca of Cubism".

Visit of the Museum of Modern Art.

CADAQUES

A full day dedicated to Salvador Dali: walk across the wonderful scenery of Cap de Creus largely influencial in his work, visit of the surrealistic Casa Dali in Port Lligat and stroll along the old cobbled streets of Cadaques.

FIGUERES

Dali's native town welcomes you for a morning visit of the exceptional "Teatre Museu Dali".
